HAPPY NEW YEAR from my family to yours. I hope everyone had a great 2010 and I hope everyone has had an even better start to your brand new 2011!!! I have a lot of goals this year and I anticipate an awesome year ahead accomplishing those goals. Screw new years resolutions! Lets all move forward in our lives everyday.

So heres to the new year!  

So today has been sooo much fun. I love having the other kiddos back, it allows me to be a kid all over again. Today we went to Toysrus/babiesrus and spent some gift cards that my mom gave the kids for Christmas. They were pumped! We were there more than 2 hours. I had Gemma the entire time in a baby sling just walkin around, she was loving every second of it. Not only did my mom spoil the older kids but she spoiled Gemma with a gift card... trust me the thought that Gemma doesn't know what buying things is, crossed my mind on the video game aisle. I was a good papa and we got her a new tub for bathing, new pacies and some first step baby food!

We couldn't wait to get home so we could feed her her first spoon of apples! Being a proud papa and photographer, I busted out the camera for her new 1st. It was so cute!!! She loved it!!! The pictures tell all.

Tonight was the worst and best airport experience of my life. I waited in dead stop traffic, argued with the guy at the southwest counter and then had to wait around thousands of cranky people who have been waiting to board delayed flights all day. I know if I was those people I would be pretty frustrated too but seeing these smiling faces get off the plane made it all worth it! They are back from Christmas vacation in Florida and now its Christmas time tonight here at the bleubird house. WOO!

First off I am sorry for skipping a few days. I must say this has been a wonderful break from everything and a great Christmas. Gemma's first Christmas was a huge success and she seems to have taken a new interest in a certain profession that her handsome father loves. So Korey and I just took a stroll up to the corner store to pick up a few adult beverages to relax and watch wonder pets with baby Gemma. Yea were awesome. Dont ask me why we walked down this aisle but we did. I just dont understand the marketing that condom companies use... personally I would never purchase a condom named "Rough Rider", it sounds as if it were made with small shards of glass and sand paper. Also "wet n wild", come on! There's nothing more attractive than a woman from the late 80s early 90s wearing a horribly tacky swimsuit with water splashing all over her. Maybe I should go into the business of marketing condom brands and see if I cant help these guys out. Anyways have a good night and feel free to email me your interesting finds at your local corner stores.

So little miss Gemma is teething already so she has consumed our day today. Lots of tears and sadness.

So todays photo of the day is a wonderful bachelor recipe I made up many years ago after a long night of beers with the boys and only a few things in the fridge. Today "cowboy pasta" as I call it, has been a tradition with my buddy Korey and myself. Miss James thinks it is the most repulsive, disgusting thing ever but I find it to be a delicious concoction full of childhood memories. Im sure most will look at my recipe below and laugh... then possibly throw up and never come to my website again. Some will respect it and understand the value in a weird made up late night concoction. For those of you who dont like it... go fuck yourself san diego... JK. 

COWBOY PASTA...

ingredients needed:

1 gourmet box of Kraft Original Mac and Cheese (korey likes to mix spongebob and toystory if available)

1 pack of smokey, juicy sausage... 

1 Bottle of BBQ sauce that will make your taste buds jump for joy. 

To make just simply follow the wonderful directions provided by Kraft to prepare your mac. Then pan fry your juicy sausage, once fully cooked add to your creamy cheesy gourmet pasta. Next pour in your jump for joy BBQ sauce and stir it all up while dancing to the beautiful melodies of your favorite Pantera tune. Lastly dont forget the final ingredient before consumption... simply add a magical little thing called love.  Your ready to go! Take a bite, sit back and enjoy the ride Cowboy Pasta provides. You can thank me later :)

Today I had to go to the post office... 25 people in line and only 1 postal lady. I felt so bad for her, those people do not deserve to be understaffed any day let alone the holidays. The united states postal system make plenty of money!!! It cost me $40 to ship a package to the United Kingdom, give me a break! Get this poor woman some help and a fat Christmas bonus! The next $50 that I make im handing to her in an envelope that says thank you.

Today was Milla's 8th birthday! She is growing up so fast and I feel like Gemma is right behind her. This morning when we woke up to get ready for the work day and school, Milla opened all of her presents. She made out like a bandit! So much cool stuff. After school while the girls were playing Julian and I made a trip over to our dear friend over at Sunchild Salon for a little trim before Julian's holiday play tomorrow morning at school. I took my camera with me and snapped a few photos while I was waiting.

Tonight we played pictionary man for family game night and then we played with my led light in the living room. fun fun fun.

Im exhausted, this weekend was so much fun! We had a slumber party on Friday for Milla and last night was lights in the heights. Milla's party was a blast, all of her friends are so funny and provided us with hours of entertainment. Lights in the heights is a huge neighborhood party thats full of food, music, house parties and even a parade. I have not been this tired in a long time and a 9pm bed time doesn't  sound too shabby right about now. 

So heres to you weekend mayhem. 

Tonight is flippin insane!!!!!! There are 8 year old little girls running around my house like they just drank a whole pot of coffee each. I have been taking pictures of glamour nail time, cake time, presents and now we are moving on to child safe moisturizing mask and girly movies. my idea of a good time hands down! I have to say im stealing miss plums party ideas for my next birthday. Happy birthday my lil plum.

This lady makes me weak in the knees, I love her so much! I complain a lot about having to drop things that im doing to take some blog photos for her and I need to stop! Dudes would kill to take pictures of her... in my opinion. So guys dont take your ladies for granted, they are the ones who truly define us.
